Our Process
Let us pool your
ideas with our skills!

|
Successful
commercial pool construction involves a carefully planned series of steps.
Timing of these steps is critical to completing the job as projected.
Fun 'N' Sun Pools of Georgia utilizes professionals with years
of construction experience to assure that each step contributes to the
overall superiority of our pools. We build your pool with quality equipment
and materials, tested construction methods and careful hand finishing.
|
| |
| Preparation:
Prior to construction, a certified pool contractor surveys the site,
designs the pool hydraulics and obtains necessary permits. We help
with creative thinking and artistic planning. |
|
|
|
Excavation:
Dave Finlon literally lays the "groundwork" for our pools.
Skilled workmen and special equipment shape the excavation. |
|
| Plumbing:
John Crowe installs a state of the art plumbing system. This early
step in pool construction guarantees proper pool function for years
to come. Experts handle piping and placement of plumbing. |
|
|
|
Steel:
A network of reinforcing rods is firmly wired together. Extra steel
reinforcing is added to the bond beams. These rods add strength and
longevity to the pool. |
|
| Pool
Shell:
A durable and permanent concrete mixture is pneumatically applied
and hand finished by White's Shotcrete. This creates a concrete pool
of superior strength. Typically we use a shotcrete mix to make a monolithic
shell, with the walls and floor created on the same day. |
|
|
|
Tiling:
Waterline tiles are installed to protect the pool. Distinctive accent
tiles are commonly used on steps and benches. A wide variety of tile
colors and designs enhance the beauty of the pool. |
|
| Coping:
Our craftsmen install a pool border. Coping options include poured-in-place
cantilever, brick and precast concrete. |
|
|
|
Decking:
Decking is not only functional, but contributes to the appeal of the
pool area. We have experience in a wide range of deck materials and
design. Add an exquisite touch to any pool by framing it with unique
decking. |
|
| Plaster
Finish:
Collins' Pool Contracting, Inc., applies the waterproof finish. The
plaster coat is carefully applied with special equipment and hand
troweled to form a smooth interior finish. This durable finish completes
a pool with "A Touch of Class, Built to Last." |
|
|
|
Pool Startup:
Once the pool is filled, a Certified Pool Operator starts up the equipment
and makes sure all components are operating properly. Startup includes
instruction on the use of all equipment, balancing pool water and
maintenance procedures. |
